General Secretariat
The General Secretariat is the administrative arm of Kenya Conference of CatholicBishops (KCCB) under the direction of the General Secretary who is the Executive Officer of the Conference and through its various Commissions, National Offices and Departments coordinates and implements activities which express the mission of the Catholic Church in Kenya. A Commission or National Office is a body constituted by KCCB for a specific mission of the Church, to study, recommend and implement its findings subject to the approval of the Plenary Assembly (c. 451, CIC).
An Ad-hoc Commission is a body constitutes by KCCB as need arises to study and recommend its findings on particular issues as KCCB deems necessary. Currently KCCB has 13 Commissions 1 Ad-Hoc Commission and 1 National
